The one there is 100% painted. That isn't even in doubt. The one from the OP isn't though. It is probably an in game screen but with heavy SSAA and some other little post work here and there. The biggest reason these always look better than the real game is due to the SSAA they put on them. They have so much AA that it would take 4x 680's to render a frame a second probably.

Regardless what the pic is of....I'm a huge Crysis fan from day one, two and now three. Can't wait to throw my GTX 690 at it fully maxed out.

I don't multiplayer in Crysis, it's manily for the story arc and campaign. First run 2D full graphics maxed with game difficulty set to medium. Then go in a second time only turn down graphic settings one notch and game difficulty to hard. Slap on the glasses and it's 3D Vision goodness for a fresh look at the same campaign and submerse myself. Love it.

You know.... I would love to play a shooter or third person adventure game that looks like those painted concept arts.

I have always looked at the concept arts for Halo, and wondered how awesome if the game's graphics looked like that.
