I need some help. I have a EVGA 670 4gb SC. I did the GPU clock which I got +72. Anything above that crashes so I stuck with that cause it didn't cause any artifacts either. When I went to do memory OC. I got +800 at 81FPS and 835 score but I ran again. However, It gets lower when I run it. Does this mean I should lower it?

Of what I understand, the performance of your card gets lower, when you increase memory, is this correct? If so, you should decrease memory clock, as it does more harm than good. I would say that it's considered an unstable overclock, when performance is lowered while the clock is increased.

Has anyone tried the unlocked bios Gigabyte GTX680 OC for a Gigabyte GTX670?

This is my result with 1.212v...




40Mhz more, biggrin.gif.

I don't know how to feel about my Gigabyte GTX 670 OC... the core clock barely goes up to +70 (I also noticed that with +65 I still get the same Boost than I do with +70, with stock speeds I get a +91 KBoost over the normal boost, with +70 It goes down to +86 KBoost, weird) but the memory seems to overclock nicely, going up to +500.

49.7 fps is good for a 670. Reference 680's push 46-47 fps.

With unlocked voltage i've been able to get my MSI 670 Power Edition to 54.3 fps (1360 Core, 3800 Vram)... but i certainly don't run it at those clocks on a daily basis. My 24/7 OC (1260 Core, 3600 Vram) runs right around 51 fps in Unigine.

That's why I posted a screen of GPU-Z, so you can see the default clocks and overclocked ones. I'll post the clocks next time so it's easier to read.

PrecisionX shows the same clocks as GPU-Z and MSI Afterburner.

Looking through this thread makes me disappointed with my 670, many people seems to be running them with 1250+ on the core and 1800 on the memory ;/ unless they're 670s with unlocked voltage (By the way, do the EVGA FTW come with unlocked voltage?)

Ugh! Now I feel like tossing my golden GB 670 OC into my rig, slapping on that BIOS you mentioned and gunning for 1400Mhz Core OC in Heaven benchmark... Can you please link me to the BIOS?
