that's for the GPU yes.

generally in the 50s though it's summer here in Australia and the ambient temps might affect the temps.

Hi, I recently bought a Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 2x. The highest boost that I've seen it's at 1110Mhz. Now I've overclocked only the core clock following the guide and I obtained a stable +100 offset. I didn't crash in any bench and my temps are max 63 degrees. I get (with 115% power target) costant 1202mhz in games. Now I just want to know if this 1202mhz core clock is safe for 24/7 use or it will decrease the gpu's lifespan and break the card? (Voltage is costantly @ 1.175v

Will not decrease the cards lifespan what so ever as you are not over-volting.

Hello everyone,

Just got an ASUS DCII 670 (non TOP) and tried to play with it a bit.

I tested with Heaven with Card being at stock values ,
I observed the following

GPU CLOCK 915
BOOST CLOCK 980
KEPLER BOOST 78
MAX BOOST 1058

POWER% - 35%
MAX TEMP - 59 C

1. Why do i have so low Kepler Boost while at the same time my temps and power % values are great?
2. Another thing i observed is that when the card is under full loads with max boost enabled it utilizes 1.175 voltage which is the max available even though i didnt touch voltages at all. Is this normal?

My driver is 310.70 beta and i use MSI AB 2.3.0 and GPU-Z on Win7x64

What i initially wanted was to save some money and at least reach the TOP's clocks but after the first measurement i am kind disappointed.. mellowsmiley.gif

I think it's normal, same as me...my MSI 670 PE just have a little kepler boost too, most of it, can reach 1215 Mhz out of the box, without any adjustment with AB, but my card only 1150 Mhz...that's a shame...but I accept it, because it's normal I think....In other words, It's lucky a draw.

If you only had 35% power level in Heaven then something is wrong. I normally get 100% or more running Heaven. And the card automatically raises the voltage under load, so that's normal.

I get only 75% TDP while running Heaven. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Just ran heaven and max temp was 81c tongue.gif Stock cooler though, boosted up to 1045mhz. Wish I had an aftermarket cooler though. tongue.gif

75 is a long way from 35 though. Although he may just be running on very easy settings (no tess, low AA, etc) - I've done all my testing with it on max.
