I will say that at stock clock (asus dcii non-top) it nearly beats my old sli 560ti at 880mhz heaven 2.5 score. It beats the min and comes 10fps from the max on the sli did

You need the newest version of afterburner.

Well just returned my Galaxy GTX 670 since the fan keeps making these buzzing noises even at the lowest level, and it is not a good overclocker. I can't achieve the FPS you guys are getting with your cards. Gonna keep using my HD 6870 until GK110/7xx series

What is a "SAFE" overclock power target / GPU clock / MEM CLOCK for the EVGA FTW GTX 670 ?

Just got my Gigabyte OC tonight.

It boosts to 1150 and I'm only able to add +100 to core before Heaven crashes. OK whatever.

But what I don't understand is why increasing the power limit doesn't help at all. I can't get anything more using 111% power (1.175v). mad.gif

Temps peak at 57C with 100% 63% fan speed.

I'm not entirely sure why this occurs. Which OC utility are you using?
I use MSI afterburner, even though its settings aren't optimized for GTX 6xx series it gives me the best results.
It seems some cards seem to only draw certain power levels, yours peaking at 110%, while mine will peak 121% when I set it to 117%

I'm using Precision X. I didn't think the software would matter but I guess I'll install Afterburner tomorrow.

One thing I'm noticing is that the power limit doesn't actually do anything (using Heaven and EVGA OC Scanner). Even at 110%, the load voltage is still the same at 1.175v and the power draw at the wall is exactly the same.

Oh, and the +100 on core is no good once I raise memory +100.. I have to drop core to 90 at that point. frown.gif

Hopefully these things need break-in or something.

I noticed, with MSI AB, that when I set the power limit to 100% it would draw up to 109, and when set to 110% it'd draw 116%.
So with my Asus GTX 670 and AF I definitely did see the power limiter have an affect. However, GPU voltage has no effect, as it seems to always jump to 1.175 in load.

I have been playing around with my Gigabyte OC, but I can't for the life of me get the OSD with Percision X to display when I'm benchmarking. I would like to be able to see my temp, core, and mem speeds. Can anyone walk me through this?
