strange that evga precision X isn't locking in my voltage to the max setting....hhmmmm....

Should go to 1.175mV & click 'apply'. Hiwever when Windows is rebooted it will reset.

i think that's what happened but from a cold boot and not a shutdown then reboot straight away (as it keeps the voltage then

). it might be the beta drivers cos i don't think that happened with the 301.42 drivers.

im using .42 drivers and the only time the voltage doesnt 'stick' is when the drivers crash. if i crash in heaven say, i have to reset after the reboot. its the only time i have to reset the max voltage.
not worth anything to you but, thought id throw in my experience with it.

OK, I updated EVGA Precision X to 3.0.3 and now it accurately displays the FPS in Max Payne 3.

That's part of the nV Kepler efficiency. It down clocks and if the conditions are right, downvolts too. Acts like the intel SB and IB cpus. Not something to worry about.
