Complete bull here I come sprint
Petition
Clarification from Verizon states that you will not lose your unlimited under your current contract but when you go to upgrade if you buy a subsidized phone you will be forced into one of their tiered family share plans.
To keep your grandfathered unlimited data plan you will need to buy a phone for the full retail price. I'm assuming you can get one off of ebay as well. I have done this in the past without incident

I use almost a gig a week, and I'm not even watching YouTube. If data plans keep getting cut, it's going to kill business that rely on it too.

but I download whatever, run tether, watch youtube, I love not having to worry about data caps
