I have £50 to spend on a camera and I'm wondering which one you guys would recommend? I'm a complete newbie when it comes to which cameras are the best and if this forum didn't exist, I probably would have just went with the camera which has the most megapixels, haha. The camera will be used for general photography (I'd like to take a lot of outdoor photos) and maybe to take a few pictures of myself and the inside of my house. Many thanks, I appreciate all suggestions.

It'd be for something more than that, I'd like to take my time with the pictures and have the highest quality possible, which I could then edit in Photoshop.

...why ask all those other questions about pro quality and then post this saying you cant help

for that budget just get whatever you can find. myself and several others would all probably suggest trying to save a little more and get something used/refurb

If you can save a bit more there are interesting propositions at around £ 70, like the Canon PowerShot A1200.
