Gigabyte 670 Windforce for SilverStone SG05 case and GPU voltage

Hi all especially Gigabyte 670 Windforce owners,

Would you know whether Gigabyte 670 Windforce can fit in SilverStone SG05BB450 case?

The case has internal length of 264mm. Gigabyte 670 Windforce is reference 680 PCB which fits fine, but the plastic fan cover/casing is longer then the PCB. Does any one has the exact size?

Also is Gigabyte 670 Windforce over-voltage by default? To my knowledge, Galaxy/KFA2 670 EX OC is at 1.175v at load. I'm worried that high voltage would damage the card in long run as I will use the card for years.

GTX 670 OC is 9,5" but the SG05 fits only 9" cards.

SG05 is actually longer than 9" A ref 680 fits well in it.

WRONG


I have had a 680 in mine, which is 10.5, and now I have an EVGA 670 SC in mine, which is 9.5. All depends on how you have your cooler setup. I have a Antec 620 turned so the tanks are on top and bottom.

The absolute longest card you can fit in a SUGO 05 without modification is about 10.5". I once crammed a GTX 470 Twin Frozr II model in one (longer than the reference 9.5" design) and the heatsink touched the inside of the case frame.

The GTX670 Windforce model uses a PCB as long as the reference GTX 680 and extends on this length slightly due to its HSF overhang, so I doubt it would fit without modification.

It is not an ideal card to use in a SUGO 05 anyway, as it exhausts heat within the case.
