Well, I figured the picture I posted would have shown you that you can fit a 9.5" card, and the pictures here in OCN that show a 10.5" card would have helped too. No modding, here is a pic of the room I have left over with the 670.

Yes I've seen your pic, I was just saying that it wasn't what the sources I found were saying. thumb.gif

So, I know I'm pretty late replying to this thread, but I recently purchased a 10.5" EVGA GTX680 Classified and planned on putting it in the SG05, but after I had already purchased everything, I got a reply stating the card would be a few millimeters too long and I'd need to cut the front metal panel.

I can't see the proof pictures you had posted above any longer... just curious to know if you were mistaken? From what research I was able to do, the majority of GTX670s are under 10" and it looks like I will need to mod the SG05, which sucks because I've never done any dremeling. rolleyes.gif

hi, i just put a gtx 670 FTW into the sg05 - it's got the 680 PCB, so they are exactly the same size, 10.5 inches.

you won't need to do any modding, just be sure to put it in before any other part, because you'll have to fit it in diagonally. having the mobo in before is OK though.

edit: sorry, yo're right, the classified is longer than normal - you're going to have the card sticking out of the front I think :\

The EVGA GTX670 FTW is 10", is it not?

I ordered the Classified (10.5"). I've been researching for a good three hours now... I'm fairly certain I'll have to mod the SG05.

Hey... I know this is an old thread but I am looking at fixing a Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3 OC into one of these (276mm) and was wondering how your 680 classified fit as it is longer than my card (mine's a couple tenths of an inch longer than a reference 680). Anyone know if my card would fit?

Sorry for a month late reply... I didn't see that someone had posted again.

The Classified is listed as the wrong size, even on EVGA's own website... the card is exactly 11" long, which is too long; I ended up buying the reference 4GB GTX680 which is 10" long... it fit just barely. Anything passed 10.5" will not fit, and you may have to dremel the front of the interior metal portion to fit anything past 10.3"... I'm not 100% sure, but definitely anything longer than 10.5".

I took photos to let other curious customers know... check it out on my PCPartPicker page.
