It's tough staying within budget, I literally scoured the web looking for deals where I could find them. Pieced my build together over the course of about 2 - 3 months and am finally finished (minus an optical drive). I actually found on a few different components that Newegg was cheaper than other sites. I bought my motherboard from them for about $30 cheaper than Amazon, after tax and shipping it was still about $15 cheaper, same with my Samsung RAM, it was cheapest on Newegg. However, both my processor and HDD I bought from NCIX because they were cheaper. Just have to spend the time to look and be willing to go to other places to purchase, but make sure they're reputable in case you need to RMA or need customer service.

Yea, I didn't want to spend months resaeraching as prices on New Egg change daily, -.-

but NCIX, never heard of them I'll definatly start looking there, the PCPartBuilder site some one linked early too was also very cool!

I checked there prices, they weren't bad New Egg had them beat in a number of places but I think the i7's where cheaper there and maybe even the i5 3570

but the i5 3550 is the same there as it is on New Egg [Egg has free shipping to didnt check shipping on NCIX]
