Just out of curiosity, why would you water cool your 550Ti's? It seems like a waste of money to me; I don't even think they make 550 water blocks. You'd probably have to use a universal VGA block, or you could do an Corsair/Antec closed loop cooler mod...

I've never seen full coverage blocks for the 550Ti. My guess is because it is a low end card.

You will have to use a universal GPU block for these.

Agreed. Why would you even waste money on water block that is gonna prolly cost close to value of card and works fine on air rolleyes.gif

Take a look also at motherboard south-bridge blocks. Usually these have pretty wide fittings range as well and should work just fine on GPU core as well - at least thats what I grabbed for my 6770 (the block was ~14 euros at discount at Aquatuning). Only issue with those is that hoses tend to exit the block perpendicular to the card so even when using 90 degree fittings it's not as space sparing as a true GPU core block, like EK ones, for example, that can be pulled off even with just 1 slot clearance. With 90 degree fitting, depending on the block you get, it can be as bad as 3 slots (a "single slot" in terms of PCI/PCI-e is approx 20 mm).

While GPU universal blocks can be found on sale often enough as well in my experience you can get, if you are lucky, some motherboard stuff far cheaper on sale. Presumably just bcos the manufacturer description claims something on the lines "awesome block for NF200 chipset" and the store just wants to get rid of it eventually.

Yes. But I'm not aware of any water-block capable of cooling two cards so you would still need two blocks, one for each card. If you care about clean look then EK has a GPU core block that has a "bridge" attachment. Very clean looking when using these on two similar cards, although the price is not exactly cheap at approx 60 eur per block. They are still a GPU core blocks, not full blocks, so should fit fine even on cards that done have full blocks available for them.

I suggested the NB/SB blocks as alternative if you are on tight budget. They will not do world records on GPU but are still better than on air cooling.
