If you take the time you can do it! Just ask any questions you might have and practice a bit on some spare cables.

Thanks guys.

I had to pull very hard each pins. After 24 wires, you easily get the trick. I am very happy with my job, much better than my first PSU (with single braided sleeve, could see the wire color under)

I am providing more picture of the PCI-E cables for the Lepa G 1600. (Someone asked)

The PSU Connector has ( 6 x 12v)Yellow + (6 x COM)Black. So it is a 12 Pins connector going into the GPU ( 8 + 8) pins . The Black wires are splitting near the PSU connector going from 3 wires to 5. I used a shrink on each cables then used a bigger shrink to tight everything. I am not sure if its the way to do it, but its the way I did it and I think it the best I could do with that type of extensions.

Three black wires splitting into five. Twice. (Their is 6 yellow wires at the PSU but also 6 at the PCIe connectors so 10 Blacks)

On this one I missed a little bit but you can understand how I proceeded. I used 8 x 1/2" Shrinks (or 1/4") and one big one to wrap everything. I would say around a 1 inch shrink.

On and Teaser, swapped my fans for some Corsair AF series. Just ordered 4 x 7970 with EK Nickel/Acetal water Block with Quad bridge. Will also receive some work from Dwood soon.

Sorry I have bad lighting when its night in that room.

Ah yes, my age old enemy "the enermax psu" - by far the most labor intensive psu to sleeve.

Lepa is enermax rebranded, same PSU connectors. will try to hide those long ugly heatshrinks.

Do you think I did them okay Lutro0?

I installed some RGB Led Strip today. I will mount some plates with logos on the front panel and on the 5'25" Bay where you see the short light strips. The side panel will also be modify with a bigger window.

Totally, anyone willing to tackle sleeving that psu gets a gold star in my book.

Only tip I can give is I have been experimenting with taking those 2 - 3 splits and rewiring them down to 1-1 and 1-2 splits to clean it up, Its worked out fine before but who knows how that would effect performance down the road, its all the same voltage so it shouldn't matter, but sadly I am not an electrician.

But in anycase, good job! thumb.gif
