Except looking at razer's newer stuff, they've changed their shells to be higher quality; in terms of parts (switches and etc) they use the same parts found in logitechs and steelseries mice and etc.

on another note man those gtx 680s are so much cheaper then the 780s!

I should really stop commenting on matters where brand recognition among the general public is valued more than hardware.

Thought I'd give everyone an update. The Ouroboros went on sale this week and mine came in today.

I was kinda busy today, so I haven't really gamed with it. I did manage to squeeze in a couple rounds of Battlefield 3 and Dota 2 though. Its a bit wide and heavy for my hand, especially when I compare it with my Taipan, but I think I'll get used to it as I continue to use the mouse. So far, I am very pleased with this product. thumb.gif

Too bad they insist on using laser sensors with 2472398423789 DPI.

Is there any possibility of these sensors not suffering from acceleration? I know it's a problem with Avago sensors, but does it also affect the twin-eye? With the surface calibration options, LOD should no longer be an issue with these, right?

Twin eye doesnt have acceleration, but Razer screwed it up and put in a faux-acceleration system in to alleviate jitter.
