Is that so? Too bad you're not on their hardware team. I'd have some serious ideas to pitch your way.

You should send them in any-ways. Or you could pitch to me, I can help you with your ideas being a design student, and then you can send in the refined ideas smile.gif Its all good either way.

Yea i get what you mean, its just that everything i have had Razer has failed, even my friend who bought the Razer controller, his failed too. (And mine is starting to do the same) It just seems to me like the build quality on these things are sub-par..... Although a lot of people seem to be happy with the Deathadder, so maybe it's just some products that aren't as well built. But still, considering the Mamba is their highest end "elite" mouse offering, it just really should have been built better. It probably wouldn't have been as bad if the support was better, but they were so unbelievably useless. The guy i spent an hour with on the phone didn't even save the info i gave him. Logitech for example, i messaged them 2 days ago because the pads were wearing down on my mouse, today they sent out a brand new one for free, and i don't even have to send the old one back.

A: The Mamba has gone through so many revisions since your experience. As a rule I never buy something that hasn't been out for a year for peripherals. (Screens included)
B: I think the Naga Epic is the flagship now actually, I could be wrong. Maybe the Mamba 2012 is with the 4g sensor, but I do not know.
C: Oh believe me I get how hardware can go bad repeatedly, there's a reason I'll never use an ATI card for eyefinity any more (I didn't know there was 9 types of DVi...)
D: I think there's been a couple upheavals in support and such since. I also (personally) recommend never going through phone, always have a paper trail.
E: I'd sooner return my mouse to the store than RMA it, was that not an option for you?
F: Logitech is good I won't dispute that, but there are people with stories like yours but about logitech. It seems only corsair is the perfect company. (Challenge: find a corsair hater)

That all being said, I'd seriously recommend not jumping to conclusions as fast as you did. I do know for a fact that it will be more fragile than generic mice, just like every other gaming mouse from razer, and will work exactly as expected once we're through the driver configs for Syn2.

Happy hunting.

Edit: Razer currently also does not require the original product to be sent back for an RMA anymore, simply prove it is non functional.

... you asked for it. I had problems with their H70 cooler, it made a weird rattling sound. Made a promise to never buy their stuff again, but then i heard the SP2500 speakers and i was impressed with the sound quality (for pc speakers of course). Bought one only to find out the right speaker is twice as loud as the left one and the sound stage is not centered. When i returned it to the store they said they can't hear the difference so they can't replace it. Corsair offered to RMA, but you try sending 15 kg from Romania to US and see how much that costs. As a result i ended up with a cooler and a 2.1 system that i can't use. So Corsair the perfect company ... not likely.

I'm just gonna assume you checked the balance settings on the unit, and in windows right? (I know it'd be insane lol)

The H70 making a grinding noise, I believe someone posted the fix for that today, shall I find that for you?

Edit: your location, is pure victory.

I hope this isn't too expensive because it looks like something I'd want. Even though I have a left handed DeathAdder, the problem can lie with how the left and right clicks are by default switched compared to an ambidextrous and right handed mouse (left button is right click and right button is left click) and some games are set up where you can't change those buttons, like Skyrim or Terraria. Don't get me wrong, I love my Death Adder, but sometimes it can be a problem. Also really love the idea of wired or wireless when it suits you. I know people says it looks like a RAT mouse, but you know what, at least this can work for both hands.

I like the look of the mouse TBH. It gives the RAT some competition which is good for everyone.

That said, why don't you just switch those buttons in the drivers of the mouse? You know you can do that right?

Also wireless is a pita and Id personally rather not even have the option as it'll just add unnecessary weight and failure points since I would only ever use it in wired mode, but that's just me.

Actually, the Razer drivers are messed up to where if you do try to switch the buttons, both buttons become useless. I tried to get it to work multiple times, but the best thing I can do is tell Windows to switch the main buttons (left and right) which works for most things, but not all games use that same setting. I mean, Valve games automatically recognize it, others I have to change the left and right click from where they were before and some games I can't even change this option, which will screw with me dearly.
