Yeah. If you uninstall the Razer drivers and just use the Windows drivers and you still have those issues then it does sound like your Deathadder might be faulty. Its worth exchanging it because it is a really great mouse.

Yeah I'm thinking you might wanna start rolling back drivers, save the RMA till you have to. Keep the firmware at newest, but start trying older revisions. Also make sure your generic USB drivers are up to date for your mobo (I know I know please just do it.)

May just try the RMA route then. If youve uninstalled the Razer drivers and only using Windows' drivers and its still screwed up, its gotta be the mouse itself thats defective.

Well, I can get it to where it switches the button using Windows, but what I'm saying is, is that some games, I can't switch the mouse buttons so that it would be the normal set up. Valve games automatically recognize the Windows switching of the buttons, and I have to switch the buttons in the key mapping for some other games. I'm sure I can wait. I barely play Skyrim, so no huge loss lol. I think I'll try to talk to Razer about this problem before I RMA it, see if they think the mouse is defective.

I did however get it via Amazon Prime back in the beginning of April. Wonder if I can get send it back there instead of Razer?

I think this is what excites me the most. I love my Mamba 4G, but it still uses the Phillips Twin Eye. I'm tempted on picking one of these up when they come out because it seems like Razer is finally using a different laser sensor. That, and also that it doesn't have glossy sides. I HATE the glossy sides of my Mamba. rolleyes.gif

The manual also showed that it comes with a rechargeable AA NiMH battery (I should have downloaded the pdf, its been taken down from the FCC page), so we can have multiple batteries charging at once with a wall charger or something if we really wanted to.
