I don't see a picture whrre you smell the radiatot.. You did smell it first right?

Also remember that the fans that pull air run on low speed.
I'm not sure why that is myself... Just something I leqrned along the way.

And make sure to replace ALL of the plastic tops on the rads.
Very common mistake to leave them on (they aren't waterproof)

Have fun smile.gif

Update over the weekend, decided to put the MB in and connect all the dots. Was worried that the cpu 8 pin wasnt going to fit, but with a little effort it just squeezed in but is close to the fan blades, should be alright thoe. It just managed to reach the psu without needing an extension. Im gonna need a bit of time and care to work out the cable management at the back but cable ties will take care of that. Next is the SSD and the other bits and pieces.

Looks good I upgraded my loop with the Xspc Raystorm block and Xspc RX 360 rad and am very happy with both of them. I had the XSPC 750 RS240 but when I added my Crossfire Sapphire HD 6950's to the loop I went for the bigger rad. Well good luck on your build and defiantly flush your rads I also got some residue out of my rads.

Ive taken out the hot swap backplate and put in my asus blu ray player in. Just waiting for my evga gtx 680 and heatkiller water block to turn up tomorro, as well as my bit fennix case fans then i can go ahead and start to pipe it all together.

Looking good dude!!

Glad you flushed your rads, could have made a nice mess inside your CPU block otherwise wink.gif

I see you went for the AX850 instead of the HX1050? I've been considering making that change myself, I like the new sleeved cables from Corsair replacing the stock ones, just need to save up again before I can make that change, also I don't think I really need a KW, I was planning on TriFire but cant see me doing it now. If anything I'll get a couple of 8000 series or 700 Series GPUs when launched to replace my 6950s

Have you not thought about cutting some of that metal plate out so to give your fan a bit more clearance? I've just picked up a jigsaw and am planning to cut an inch or so from it to give the fan more air, also wasn't sure if the metal plate being so close would help generate more noise.

Great build so far though matey.

I absolutely love your build, it looks incredible! In fact, after seeing the RX360 in push-pull, I am starting to wonder if I should get the Alphacool NeXXos UT60 420 for up top... I will probably stick with the EX240 for the bottom, but I am concerned about the 60mm+25mm thick rad+fans up top making it a huge PITA to get everything lined up regarding the 8pin+4pin CPU power cables and of course the heatsink on the R4E (I intend to get a block for the board, but the CPU and GPU are enough for now... When I need >4.5Ghz stable daily OC on the 3930K, the MB block will make more sense).
Plus, as I will be using 1800rpm/103cfm/3.5mmHg fans in push-pull up top, I don't know if the thicker but half-as-dense-FPI rad would be a benefit? I would love to hear more about what kind of temps you are getting!
Maybe I will stick with the EX420 up top but go to the UT60 or XT45 240 in the bottom, if they will provide better heat dissipation than the EX240 @ 2800rpm/5.2mmHg of airflow/pressure...

You have given me a lot to think about, and it is all these kick ass builds like yours that has had me delaying ordering the rest of my WC gear as I won't settle for "good", I want great (like what you have pulled off)!

Thanks for your comments matt, yea you are right about cutting the metal out and i think i might take your advice and do it. Thank you again. Ive had abit of a settback, when i started it up for the first time i wasnt getting a post and the debug display was showing 00. Took me some time two see the q cpu led light was red, which obvisiously points to a cpu fault. So i took the cpu out and noticed 3 MB pins were bent. I dont now how this happened as you can only install the cpu one way. I didnt want to try and straighten the pins myself so ive taken it back to the retailer who has sent it over to a service repair facility in Australia at my expense bummer never mind, just cant wait to get it back. The only think i can think that caused it could be the uneven pressure the raystorm block has put on it???. will keep you guys posted on the progress. Thanks again for all your comments.
