Good for you for cancelling your WoW account. Anyone past the age of 12 should get off that game and experience the real world.

I had never experienced the DRM like this.

I always thought "what are people complaining about"

now i understand exactly why people freak out about the DRM and i will no longer support it.

i should not have to put up with that crap to enjoy a single player game.

I will no longer support Blizzard.

I will throw my money at devs like Runic. They are making Torchlight 2 what diablo Should be. Lan, Mods, and a host of other things.

No, it is a Draconian or "severe" DRM.

i can only play the game when blizzard feels that they will let me due to their unstable servers.

I should not have to put up with this for a single player game.

That is kind of what myself and others had been getting at for months since we knew about the always on DRM. Woe people wouldn't listen though and blizzard is going to pay not in cash but in reputation. When they had the beta and were "stress testing" their servers with 300 thousand people I could do nothing but laugh. As if they thought 300 thousand were going to be the number of people playing the first week.

By now they already have your money. Its unlikely that they will give it back. You can do what Ive been doing since World of Warcraft was announced (no I've never played it no I never wil leave me alone)

STOP BUYING FROM THEM. I havent bought a blizzard product in over 10 years and I won't buy from them again (yes that includes activision too no I don't own Call of Duty thankyou)

As I've said many times in gaming forums. You have to vote with your wallet. You can't support companies that continue to do this to you. Do yourself a favor and go buy torchlight 2

Yes, the current issues with the game should have been addressed far before launch and the ups and downs the servers are experiencing are quite upsetting.
The DRM issues are what they are. How could we expect anything different from D3 than from SC2? They should have just made a OFFLINE singleplayer mode with no way to transfer that data to online mode.
Yeah, it sucks, but it works. I love Blizzard, but I don't agree with everything they do.

Will I stop buying their games? No! They are all tons of fun. How else to voice my opinions and make them be heard? You tell me how to "Get my cake and eat it too" and I'll do it in a heatbeat.

lulz... i don't care if i can't login for a week, you can bet i will be back as soon as i can.

for those who feel the need to throw a tantrum and "stick it" to blizzard, by not playing a game they already paid for... well... i don't even know what to say.

Draconian

(Dragon-touched)

+4 Wisdom , +3 Intelligence, -2 Strength, -2 Charisma: Draconians have amazing insight and awareness, but lack coordination and common knowledge.
Medium-size: As Medium-sized creatures, Draconians have no special bonuses or penalties due to size.
Draconian base land speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision: Draconian can see in the dark up to 60 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and a Draconian can function just fine with no light at all.
+2 racial bonus to Knowledge (Arcana) and Spellcraft: The Draconians have an inborn knack for magic.
A Draconian receives a +1 Natural Armor Bonus.
Elemental Saves (Ex): A Draconian gets +1 to all saves against one of the following: Acid, Electricity, Fire, or Ice (Cold). This is an extraordinary ability.
Breath-Weapon Save (Ex): A Draconian adds it’s level to all saving throws against the breath weapon of the type of dragon it is descended from. This is an extraordinary ability.
Breath Weapon (Ex): A Draconian gains the ability to, once a day per two levels, summon the essence of their dragon ancestors and use it to protect themselves (Cone of Fire, Cone of Ice, Etc...).
Automatic Languages: Common and Draconic. Bonus Languages: Elven, Dwarven, Gnome, Spiritfolk, Undercommon, Ancestral element (fire, water, earth, air, Etc...)
Favored Class: Sorcerer. A multiclass Draconian’s Sorcerer level does not count when determining whether she suffers an XP penalty.

draconian = death for minor crimes, slavery for debt or in the case of OCN having to log into a server to play a video game.
