Well I just received my Asus 7870 and I got the original box with everything intact, including the accessories. Nothing looked like it was ever opened. The box has a sticker on it which says RMA Return.
Looks brand new, strange huh...?

nope, not really
Asus stuff from newegg open box is as likely to be RMA return or refurb as it is to be actual open box....they seem to have a bit of a shady deal going on there but whatever

Just registered it and can't still can't seem to find the warranty info, I'll just contact them tomorrow, thanks anyway.
Looks like I am missing an accessory after all, after observing the card it has 2 pci-e power connectors but it only came with one darnit!

That's usually all they come with, they assume the consumer has a power supply with at least one 6 pin PCIe power connector.

don't need to register on asus website to find out. I just asked the csr the warranty status of both my 7970s and he told me there was three years left on it
