I don't quite see what all the QQ and negative sentiment is surrounding that...I've beaten FF10 in under 30 hours -- Do I get national recognition for that? ~ Who cares...

It's the fact they have delayed it so many times 6 years does not equal 30 hours of gameplay(and that's for the people that take there time).

Appart from the amount of content the game is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing as always with blizzard games. It has that nice blizzard feel and art to it.
The gameplay is great tho there is not much else you can do with this genre tongue.gif
Tho ye should have came out years ago, to much delay for not enough delivery.

Oh and finally completed it, tho I have been playing tera online mostly with d3 on the side at nights when the guild is dead.
Will crank the difficulty up tho was hoping for months of side gameplay out of it throughout all the difficulties.

Maybe I am just forgeting how I felt about d2 at the time havnt played it in many many years.

You're right, it equals far more because you can no longer farm bosses...

Did a run through just now with my "group"...Took out Bael in less than 10 minutes on Hell.

Walked out with 2 uniques, 3 rares, 2 runes and a few set items through the entire run.

Can't do that with D3...First you have to search for a champion/elite/rare...That takes some serious time...Then when you all find one, you have to completely change tactics because you can't just spam meteor...

I see this lasting just as long for the hardcore D2 fans as D2 actually has...

I'm currently going through Hell right now, I'm a level 53 witch doctor and I've been running with my monk friend. You guys have no idea how hard it gets on Hell difficulty, to me the game COMPLETELY changes once you hit Hell. Normal you faceroll through everyone, Nightmare you take it a little slower you'll find yourself using more potions and actually dying. Hell...you go as slow as humanly possible, kite as much as you can, die multiple times to champions, etc...To me the game has started at Hell difficulty, I can only imagine what Inferno is like.

Yea, I'll give you that. So far the loot system has felt VERY unrewarding. Getting uniques is fun. Sets were fun too... I liked all that stuff... I'm now level 35 on my Witch Doctor, and no sign of anything but rares... and most of the rares don't even make sense either. Random random crap that benefits me not the slightest.

I will say this though, the game was awesome... and I loved Act 3, and 4 was just so frantic that I played straight through in one sitting. Great game. Just killed the Skeleton King on Nightmare, they even made him a slight challenge (takes a lot of damage, hits a lot harder).

The whole point of random loot is too have good drop and bad drop, it is a foundational part of Diablo since the first game, and pretty much every other ARPG (i.e. Torchlight, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest)

Dude.

No one complained when Brood Wars did it.

No one complained when Warcraft III did it

No one complained when Lord of Terror did it.

Oh, understood... but not even low level legendaries or sets to drop... There's no variety, is what I'm saying. In D2, you had gray, white, blue, yellow, gold and green, and they all dropped randomly and atleast SOMEWHAT consistently... as in you would atleast see one here or there.

Can't wait til I get my first of either set or unique... feels like it's a long time coming biggrin.gif

Legendary items drop only in Inferno mode, Blizzard has said.

Normal & Nightmare max @ Rares.

Then in Hell you can start getting sets, but still very unlikely.

In Inferno though, the drop rate increases alot and Legendary items can now be found.
