TV hookup help!!

Thread Starter
Hi again. So I recently bought another tv for my shop. Now I have a total of 3 tv's. 2 is hooked up to a regular directv box. 1 via coax and the other being AVI cable. I was wondering if I can output video from one tv to another? Is that possible. Another question I have is : I have a component cable. what is it used for? Can it output video? Thanks

Yes, you can output from one TV to another TV, if your TV supports it (Which is very rare). They also might make splitters for the signal as well, that sounds easier and cheaper. :-)

A component cable can be a input or output or whatever........if your TV support it (It is usually used as a input). Use it for what you want, a analog signal is a analog signal. DVI, VGA, or HDMI would all provide a better picture than component.

Not sure if AVI is a real cable. Your probably mean DVI.

Alot of the answers to these question depend on the specific model of TV that you have. I would recommend reading the users manual if you want the "best" answer!
