Where do I get a better heatsink with a heatpipe for my VRMs that actually fits? Can I order it somewhere? Or just order that piece from the Extreme6or Extreme9

But I have a very strong feeling they overheat during a long session of prime95. Nothing seems to be able to crash my computer. except a long 12h run of prime95. Usually gets my system crashed in 4 hours. mostly when finishing 48FFT around 1200FFT

I now have 1.344v instead of 1.32v vcore. I am going to test tonight if this is stable. Normally it should. If it isn't i am going to play with vtt and pll.

I am already saving up for LGA2011 or depending when I have my new money.

Then that means your system is stable

The sinks on those vrms are pretty good

Ya, those sinks are probably just fine. If you're really feeling insecure about the vrm temps though, I would consider laying a small fan on the mobo with the airflow pointing toward the vrms, but really you're good as it is.

did you ever try to see what kind of MOSFETs are under your heatsinks? I am pretty sure they are different from those of the higher end asrock boards, so i don't know if the dimensions would be the same.

Yup the MOSFETs are awful on the Z77 E4, I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has an effective cooling solution for them.
