Just got my EVGA GTX 670 FTW - Page 2

It affects wattage, and as long as the temps are ok you should be fine.

Voltage is the same, it is just increasing the power headroom. (we can do this because of the improve heatsink)

Hopefully i will get one sent back to me ive just emailed jacob with my serial numbers photos etc as my card just died not a good start for my first evga purchase frown.gif also i saw that you need to pay upfront for this method then when they receive your old card they reinburse you the cost ,does anybody know if this is true ?l ets hope for some good luck!

I have yet to see any 670s exceed 100% of TDP regardless of overclock.... If voltage unlocking ever becomes a reality, this may come into play, but for now it is a total non issue.

So far so good. smile.gif Battlefield 3 stays at a solid 60FPS with Vsync at 1920x1200, all maxed out with no motion blur. The card is whisper quiet, too.
I'm going to try some overclocking now. If you guys want any specific benchmarks, just ask!

SWEET!! Is that a 680 pcb??? I wish that was available when I bought my EVGA GTX 670..... doh.gif I like the looks and performance of that much better than mine, though I can't complain about how it runs. I replaced a GTX 570 and I'm not regretting it a bit.

Also, Nice to hear that EVGA is still taking care of their customers thumb.gif

Just to back this up, the highest my 680 has ever gone is 108%. I also found I could increase my stable overclock by lowering the power target down to %113. I have no idea why that makes sense, but it's the way my gpu works so try it out.

We send you a card first, with a pre-paid label to send your card back to us.
