GTX 480 V-MOD

Thread Starter
Ok i have a pair of great clocking GTX480s both have a stock vid of 1.038V an im able to run 910core with just 1.1V. Now these cards are on stock coolers an dont break 72c under benching. im trying to see if i can so a bios voltage mod so i can run more voltage to the cards. I just picked up waterblocks for the cards so im wanting to go for 925-950 core on these. Thanks for the help.

Oh yea if it matters they are OEM cards from Nvidia.

THANKS.

If you are only looking for a BIOS that lets you set higher than stock voltage then flash it with the over voltage BIOS from here.. I don't recall what the limit is though.

IIRC the limit on those cards is ~1.21v with a bios flash, but there's really no need to flash it...there should be others ways of increasing the voltage. wink.gif

PM incoming.
