I just came to this thread after the Borderlands 2 special edition thread, and boy you get a hell of a lot more interesting stuff for your money with the $100 Borderlands 2 edition than you do with this. This is just an extended DLC pack... pathetic.

Early access to content that regular versions get for free eventually and some exclusive, purely aesthetic, in-game content.

As for the maps we don't know whether they are on the disc or not. Day 1 DLC is fine with me as there is a period between when a game goes 'Gold' and it's release that allows for the development of more content; as long as it's done this way all is good. I've also heard that this limited edition includes all future DLC for no extra charge so it's better value than most FPS limited editions.

'Cause MS is the only publisher that tries to make money off of it's games... Honestly this seems like it's the most promising out of all of the reiterations since Halo 1 considering all of the changes to multiplayer and the addition of new enemies to the story, and 343i consists of a lot of ex-bungie employees.
