hold on for a couple of weeks. The HD 7870 is going to fall below USD 300 soon. thumb.gif

The power edition isn't worth it.it doesn't overclock any higher than the reference models

Since the GTX660Ti has just been released, AMD has lowered their prices significantly. You can now buy the Gigabyte Windforce 2x for $194.99 here in Canada:

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=69494&vpn=GV-R785OC-2GD&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1405

though I highly recommend the Asus 7850. I had one for a week to play with a couple of months ago, and it the damn thing clocked over 1100MHz without voltage adjustment! Apparently, the Gigabyte 7850s, although they come clocked to 975MHz vs. 875 for the Asus, don't overclock as well as the Asus from reviews I've read.

That's probably the way to go. Or you can spring for the Gigabyte Windforce 7870 (Clocked at 1100MHz) for $234 after $20 rebate:

until August 29th. This is probably the best single deal there has been since the release of the 7000-series.
