580 gtx micro jitter/micostutter/slowmo ... ideas/help?

Ok i have a 570 gtx and then today I got the 580 gtx ...

the 570 handkle the 2560x1600 D3 BoraderLands LOL or any other game I have been playing no problems no micro stuttering no random dip in fps .. (mostly steady ...


The 580 gtx i get like a few seconds smooth then a a jitter/micostutter/slowmo and then right back up to regular fps .... happens not matter how low or high settings are, what the heck?? I have clean installed the drivers 3 times and I also have made it a point to not change any setting on any games ... (so it is on the same setting the 570 gtx was on ...


I need help, thanks for your input and ideas frown.gif I am sad right at thsi moment.

Have you tested the 580 in another system to rule out a hardware issue? Also what drivers are you using?

ANyone knwo what cause might be ... if it happen on both computers ....

but the 570 was fine and the 275 gtx works fine on both rigs ...

I would have to concur, bad card. If it does the same on different machines it narrows it down. (Thats why I said check it on another )
