Temp & OC question

Thread Starter
Ive clocked my ASUS GeForce 7500LE turbo cache using the nVidia tool you get after the registry change and this is what i did,
GPU - 550MHz -621MHz
Mem -800MHz - 922MHz

I then used ATI tool to scan for artifacts and it ran for about one and a half minutes and then i aborted it after noticeing the GPU temp was at 82 C and rising. Is that ok? and what is the safe temperature for this type of card?
Does this overclock of my card seem too much? The nVidia frequency settings auto detected the overclock a little lower than this ( about 17Mhz to be exact on both speeds) should i leave it at the auto detect levels or is it ok to push a little further? if i go much further it fails the test settings.
Greatfull for any help!!!
Thanx!

80+ seems a little warm to me...
From what i've seen around here i would try and keep her at or below 75 load.
and out of curiosity why are you using ATI with an nVidia card? try driver cleaning all the ATI stuff and just use nVidea less driver conflict = fewer problems

Not using ATI drivers, just downloaded ATI tool for the artifact check! Sorry should have been more clear!

Umm not really Ati tool , umm everyone should know. I would suggest lowering the clock a bit. Nvidia really is not notorious for being at super high temperatures without failing. Maybe a ati 1950 or 1900 could be at 80 fine. Just lower it a bit and you will be fine. Also try these drivers best ones for nvidia and they come with coolbits. http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?o...=729&Itemid=41 Around 610/900 would be good.
