you have a white case so why not get this NZXT Hale90 750W for € 150,90

That one is not modular so I would not consider it to be an option.

I've been looking at that one as well. However, this review in which the reviewer states he likes the Corsair HX850W better (would be 750 in my case) kind of put me off.

Ummm, that link is about a CM Silent Pro Gold, not the Antec High Current Gamer; misquote perhaps?

Anyways, the NZXT Hale90 would be a great choice especially with a white case, it just pushes the budget compared to alternatives.

the hale90 is pretty much as good as the x760

It was indeed a misquote, fixed now.

You are both indeed right that it would probably look quite good in my case, thanks for providing the picture as well (is that yours obsidian86?)! It looks like a nice quality PSU as well. The only thing I don't like is that not all cables are sleeved (and perhaps the price a bit), but besides that it looks good.

But speaking of lookin' good, what would probably look really good is one of these Corsair AX750 PSU's with these white cables. But that would set me back around €220... oh one can keep dreaming wink.gif

Thanks for all the help.

The PSU's currently still in cosideration are:
  • Corsair AX750 - only if I'm going all the way and buying these cables as well. Around €150, €220 including cables
  • Silverstone Strider Plus 750 - for it's nice price, good quality and all sleeved cables. Around €110
  • NZXT Hale90 750W - because it's white (and the quality appears to be good). Around €150
  • Seasonic X760 - apparently very high quality and all sleeved cables. Around €150

The Strider Plus is easily the best choice there due to the far superior value it offers.

Based on value, I couldn't agree with you more. However, I am one of those fools who care about aesthetics wink.gif, and I might be prepared to pay a bit extra for that.

Well, I actually find it to be the best looking unit of that lot... none of those cheesy gold accents, stickers, etc.
