A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor in the allotted time interval...

Ok I am completely at a loss here. When I run my computer on a HDD I do not get this BSOD. Then I switched it over to an SSD and bam I get that BSOD. So I decided it was a bad SSD and I swapped it out with a new one and I am still getting that error. I have tried updating the Intel storage driver and that did not help. I recently had my Vertex 2 go bad on me and that one was working just fine. Then I ran it on a HDD for a few weeks and no issues. Then the second I go back to SSD issues. I switched it back to the HDD and I had no issues. Then I put it on a brand new Samsung 830 and the BSODs started again. So far I have only had this crash happen when I am playing Battlefield 3. Any ideas?

It also is not giving me a dump file because the BSOD gets stuck on initializing drive for write.

Have you tried updating your BIOS? What is your current bios revision?

This thread suggests the error may be resolved by a bios update.

I have the latest BIOS. It finally happened on my HDD as well. I think I may have found the culprit. I turned off my integrated audio and I have not crashed since.

that error is related to less vcore. increment one notch and test. did you stress test your system?

That was the first thing I tested when it started happening. I put all of my overclocks back to stock. That didn't fix it. I turned my audio back on and updated the driver and so far so good. I can't believe I went a week with hard locks and it was possibly something so simple! Story of my life lol.

Yes I have and as I said I rolled it back to stock just to be sure. I have played Battlefield 3 all day today and haven't locked up once. That is with my overclock on too. I haven't been able to do that all week.

That's good troubleshooting.

He fixed it with a driver update and you still think he should stress test for what? You do know that the particular error is not CPU voltage limited right?
