anyone know if this is true?
Where'd you read that? It says nothing about it in the manual. The PLX should be compatible with PCIe 2.0.
I have a Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3, i7 2600k, 16gb ram, and 4 GTX680 installed. Windows device manager only shows 3 GTX 680 and I am trying to make 4way-SLI.
Seems that 3 way works on this board with a 2600k.
Edit: and the guy got 4 way to work eventually as well.Edited by Art Vanelay - 3/5/13 at 5:15am
