No, but it's Z77 and passive, so waterblocks would be for swag only.

If it sounds like an electrical buzz, something might be shorting out on one of the Components.

Combining what your saying about the screen being really funky with red lines (or whatever else your seeing) & hearing a buzz, I would say that something is shorting out.
That happened to me one time with a really low end GPU like an 8400 something, a screw dropped on top of it, and shorted out the system causing it to crash, luckily it wasn't catastrophic and just crashed on me, got the screw off the back of the GPU, and Video was restored when I rebooted. Whew! tongue.gif

Inspect all your components very carefully, make sure your MB isn't shorting out.
Make sure you don't have an extra stand off somewhere underneath, or screws stuck between the MB and MB tray. And check your 670 to make sure its clear of metal that shouldn't be sitting on top of it.

Has your 670 ever worked properly? If none of the previous helps but it is a short, it could have shorted right out of the factory.

Soldering a Graphics card can be done the same way.

Thanks for helping out I finally figured out what my Problem was it was Drivers related Messing up a Few Times & a Setting in Bios!! Updated to Newest Drivers Yesterday & that helped so much played for over 5hrs & No more Locks up & buzz sound like Crazy anymore I thought it was my Motherboard that was Messing up or W/e I just bought it bout a Month ago there!!

Thanks for the Help man & if it does this again it prob this Motherboard and more likely will RMA it

My onboard audio died today. I don't want to have to RMA the board, so I just ordered a Xonar DX off of Ebay. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the audio died; it has been really glitchy since the day I bought it, but I attributed this all to driver issues. It doesn't even show up in device manager anymore.

If I put the card in a PCIe X1 slot, will the X16 slot next to it half its bandwidth?

I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure that only applies to the x8 bandwidth slots (x16's when referring to their physical length)
I think you're in the clear with the x1's thumb.gif

Give me a minute and I will edit this post and show you a picture of the MB block diagram.

Check this out:

The PCIe X1's run off of the Z77 Chipset,
The PCIe X8 & 16's run off the CPU directly. biggrin.gif

I vaguely recall someone saying that putting a card in one of the black slots would half the bandwidth of the adjacent slot. I hope that is wrong.

How can I check to see what my slots are running at?
x8 x16?

If you can tell me that I can let you know right now for sure, because I have the WiFi-BT x1 card that comes with the board in one of my x1's, and both x16's are occupied with my 660Ti's.
SO.... If I know how to check for sure what my 660's are running at we can settle this right now, once and for all. tongue.gif

I'm kind of curious myself. biggrin.gif

GPU-z.

I'd try it, but I don't have any PCIe cards. I only have a pile of broken PCI cards. I somehow ended up with two identical broken trendnet wireless cards. lol

+1 rep on the GPU-z direction biggrin.gif

Here ya go. Looks like we have a final verdict.

WiFi-BT x1 card installed in the first PCIe x1 slot:

GPU-z saying that I'm still running @ 3.0 x16 on both cards.
I OC'ed one of the cards just a tad so you can see that both are running at x16:

On a side note, I have my Tri SLI bridge installed,
I had my Dual SLI bridge installed earlier today, turned the PSU switch off, took the D-SLI bridge out, installed Tri-SLI bridge, booted up and it seems to be working just fine atm.
Time to do a little gaming to see if it matters which bridge I have installed. thumb.gif
The Tri-SLI bridge just looks sweeter than the ribbon IMO. biggrin.gif
