I thought you were talking abut the sniper. I would bet that the UP7 is capable of dual X16 with an X1 card in one of the X1 slots.

Ok her is a quick run-threw Using my preferred settings. Most of this will be under Advanced Voltage Control.

Under 3D Power Control
PWM Phase control - EXM Perf (my personal preference is performance)
Vcore Voltage response - Fast (my personal preference is performance)
Vcore LLC - Extreme (less Vdroop from my findings)

Under CPU Core Voltage Control
CPU Vcore - Normal (this is for using offset voltage, you will notice the box under this DVID will now highlight for adjustment. Do not do anything yet, you need to find out where your Voltage is at before doing this)
Save you bios setting and restart.

Now you will have to load into windows and run P95 and see where your voltage is at under full load, lets say at full load you are at 1.33, that means you will need +.020 DVID, 1.33 +.020 = 1.35. Restart go in bios and put the DVID offset in save restart and rerun P95 until you are good. Sometime it goes the other way, if you follow this you should have it pretty easy.

Edit: IBT is Intel Burn Test , and like posted before if you cant boot with no DVID up it until you boot into windows.
Also you can lower your CPU PLL to try to lower the temps a tad. I personally am running that at 1.65 volts but I think that is the lowest I would go.

I set my bios as you instructed above. I ran prime95 small, large and blend for an hour each, no errors.
Ran IBT 5 times, no errors.
Played BF3 and CoD WAW, no crashes.

After that i set the DVID offset to -0.010v.
Set the cpu PLL to 1.665v.
Ran IBT 5 times no errors. Ran prime95 small for 45 mins. (couldn't run the other tests, had to go to work.) 1st chance i get , will run the large and blend.
I tried a DVID offset of -0.015v, blue screened at the desktop. Went back to -0.010v.

Sounds like you are almost done and should be throttling now. The best of both worlds power saving when not needing it but yet a good overclock.

Just remember overclocking is always a choiced action. We just try to help you get there.

There's a fan on the motherboard. The board should be passively cooled; that is the standard now.
