i think he means the power button built into the board. I don't think there is a way, but i will try to see if i can find one.

i recently purchased a gigabyte GV-N570OC-13I (rev. 2.0) could not get it to run stable on my old ga-z68xp-ud3r mother board
so upon reading pc power play's review of the g1 sniper m3 i sold a child

awesome board but still cannot get my system to run any call of duty games for more than 5 mins before it crashes with a pink green or red bsod

i don't and have never over clock'd
windows 7 64 sp1
fatality 750W psu
intel i5 2500k cpu
kingston hyperx 1600
i have updated the bios of both the video ver f82 and mboard ver f7
driver 304.79-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta
have try'd a clean install no help

the only way i can play games is to under clock my factory oc card
to below stock 570 peed eg 700 1600 1400 fanspeed of at least 55%
still cannot play cod mw3 sometimes 10 maybe 15 min's tops

i have heard sticking the video card int slot 2 an 8x slot might help stability

any help suggestion appreciated

yea the issue is not with the motherboards, I am betting it is your PSU or your GPU is just not cut out for the factory OC, which is very weird. Do you have a digital multimeter?

do you think an Antec High Current Gamer 900W Power Supply HCG-900
might fix my problem

4x40a 12v rails
compared to fatality 750w
with 4x18a 12v rails

any suggestions appreciated

take the red and put it in a molex connector where the yellow PSu cable goes, and take the black and put it in the black molex hole. See how much the voltage fluctuates from idle to full load. And then report back . You do have both cables plugged into the GPu right?

yes both 6 pin pcie cables are plugged in

i restored factory clock settings 780/1560 with gigabyte easyboost reset to default (normally i have it under clock'd to 732/1470)

OK i plugged into yellow & black closest to the rear of the machine not sure if there's a difference
i get 12.16v
played cod mw3 for 8min's
lowest voltage i saw 11.80v still running no lockups no artifac's
crashed red screen of death voltage was 12.13v at the time of the crash, 12.13v stay'd constant until i rebooted then back 12.16v

try'd a stress test of the gpu using aida64
got 12.10v constant until nvidia driver crashed (stopped working) did'nt get a bsof

i have a 600Va ups plugged into my system not sure if this could b the problem

hope this is help full info for you biggrin.gif

ran a few more tests the 11.8v may of been a bad connection
rammed the little bugger right in there this time
got 12.16v - 12.17v idle
an hour of mass effect 3 12.13v - 12.11v
lowest i saw was 12.10v for a brief second

cod mw3 12.13v under load but a loveable blsod after about 5 mins

try'd by passing the ups didn't make a difference
post #190 of 1879
i was going to say 11.8v is very had if you are fluctuating from 12.13v. It is within spec however. I think the issue might be your GPU just can't handle the factory OC. IMO RMA your GPU, or you can try another PSU if you have one, or first try without UPS.
