I am not sure exactly what color, but can't you find that out through a program which can tell you exactly what color is being used? It isn't dark green, yet it isn't extremely bright either. IMO i think it is a tiny bit neon, however it isn't UV reactive.

Hi All,

Just wanted to stop by and say hello as a Sniper 3 owner.

Got my rig going this weekend - haven't tried overclocking yet but seems to be pretty stable so far.

Unable to get 2TB Western Digital Drives recognized by the BIOS and it might just be both drives are DoA so I'll test them in my old rig tonight. They're the OEM ones from Amazon and not sure if it's just the drives creating the issue or something else at the moment.

Otherwise, enjoying the setup so far!

go into the BIOS, and go into hardrive BBS priorities see if it is listed there.

It's only coming up with my Samsung SSD which is in P0 - not sure if that changes anything or not.

I tried also unplugging the SSD and putting it into the HDD instead and still no luck. Just seems odd that 2 would be DOA from different shipments...

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I've upgraded to F6a BIOS which didn't help.

are you sure there isn't an issue with the drive or the cable? have you tried it in a different system?

I am a Gigabyte fan, but I've seen some things in the this thread that would deter me from buying the Sniper 3.

So, some questions:

I would be purchasing the 2700k - has gigabyte worked out the issues with that processor?
I would want to do some serious overclocking - how are the temps on the board?
Are the other little bugs worked out?

I'm most concerned about the issues with the 2700k processor - I'd be interested to hear what y'all think.
