Any body here who has a problem with the killer e2200 lan or the intel 82579v lan? mine is always shutting down. after an hour or so playing crossfire it disconnect from the internet. Or downloading file will disconnect it from the internet. The killer e2200 is so erratic. It say it is connected to the internet but I can't seem to log on to most website. The only driver that works is the generic driver from the intel site.(not 100%working.) Can anyone help me point to where I can download barebone drivers(without the whole software from killer) for the killer e2200?

Hi, i am a new member and a newcomer to overclocking. However, recently i decided to get an extreme system. My PC has the following specs:

MB: Gigabyte Sniper 3
CPU: I5-3570k
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100 water cooling
RAM: corsair vengeance 1600mHz Cl9 DDR3 8 GB 1.5V
Graphics Card: 3 X GTX 670 2GB ( ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte)
Hard disk: 1x Corsair F120 SATA 3 SSD
1x 1TB Western Digital SATA3 hard drive
Sound card: Onboard sound core 3d sound
Casing: HAF X
DVD drive: LG 24x dvd rom
Power Supply: Corsair HX 1050 watts power supply nvidia sli certified. 80 plus silver efficiency
Monitors : 3 x 24 inch AOC LED monitors with total resolution of 5760x1080

I am running 3 way sli with this setup. Initially had some hiccups with games freezing after 5 mins of play. I was able to overclock my cpu using ET6 up to 4.3GHZ. But games used to freeze after 5 mins of play. Then I reduced CPU to default stock settings. no overclocking. Still no effect. Finally, realized that cards were overheating and added another fan directly over cards.
Now my system is running well. I can play games on 5760x1080 resolution without incident. BUT, i cannot overclock the system anymore, If I overclock using ET6 to any of their speeds whether 4.08GHz or 4.75Ghz, my computer reboots with all my graphics cards not working and after that I cannot even boot into Windows. Keep getting some blue screen saying Memory dump. Finally had to reflash the bios to salvage sytem. At default clock settings, everything works just fine again. But any overclocking and my system crashes terribly. I am literally stumped. Is it power requirements? GTX 670 is supposed to be power efficient but on the safe side i got a 1000w power supply. What gives? have i damaged the board and should i claim warranty then?

Anyway, would appreciate any input from you guys. maybe your experience and knowledge can help me, thank you in advance.

hey try disabling all application control.

I know that with e2200 for verizon FIOS you must set steam priority to 2 or higher, it cannot be 1 like other games b/c of the internet service some off bigfoot issue.

do you have have DMM? Digital multimeter? It really might be that those GPUs are too much for it an an OCed CPU. However you can easily test this out with a $5 digital multi meter from raidio shack. What you do it take the red lead and stick it in the the yellow(12v) hole on the molex connector and then the black lead into the hole for the black cable. Set the DMM to 20v DC resolution. If the voltage has a voltage of variance then it is the PSU.

However it might also be that you are OCing with easytune and if easytune is increasing the BCLK then it will cause issues with the PLX and PCI-E 3.0 GPUs. Have you tried manually OC? Try set your multiplier to 42x and your vcore to 1.25v. See if that works. Set your BCLK to 100.00 in the UEFI.

Anyone who is unhappy with Overclocking on their Sniper M3 I recommend trying the new Beta Bios. It helped a lot for me.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/x9673vfssi3md8o/sniperm3MOD_7_19_12.f8.rar

Includes stock F8 Beta bios, as well as a modified one that is updated with Intel Raid Rom 11.5.0.1414

Newest Beta and modified for Sniper 3 (F5) as well, though I have no experience with this one, but for anyone who wants to try it:

Includes modified one as well, with Intel Raid Rom 11.5.0.1414

Another Newbie here.... Would it be beneficial to run an 8800GTX as a Physx card if I have the GTX 690? Had not ever thought of it until I saw someone's system config with an 8800 and (I think) 670 SLI. I have an old system that I was running 8800 GTX SLI on and figured if they would help, might as well throw one in. I have the Sniper 3 and one 690 in slot 1 at this time. Another 690 being ordered Sept 1st.

Anyway, thanks for your time and I have really enjoyed reading through your forums!
