I need to keep playing around with the BIOS. I feel like I get lost in it so easily -______-

Too used to the ASUS UEFI I guess....

can you guys explain why there is only two sata 6gb connections, then there are GSATA conections? Im kinda of stumped to where my stuff plugs in.

I have a blu ray burner, WD caviar black HDD, and a SSD samsung 830.

I have a blu ray burner, WD caviar black HDD, and a SSD samsung 830.

there are 6 sata3 connectors.

2 are the control by the intel z77 chipset and there are 2 each control by a marvell controller.

ok. Im assuming I would plug my SSD and WD HDD into the intel sata 3 ones?

the optical drive would go into the other ones (gsata) or would it go to the sata 2 ports?

only the ssd would benefit from sata3, so yes the intel sata3 slot are best for it. the rest of your drives can go into any of them with no difference at all.

looking good 10speedr wink.gif

you have a xspc "kit" plus one more rad, and gpu blocks? what parts does it consist of, your water loop? pls and thx .

the purple and green look good.

as I have this mobo on the way I started looking at different colors that look good with the green and to my surprise there any many combos I feel look at least decent with the green of the sniper.

Thanks MaN227!

I started off with the xspc raystorm extreme kit from performance-pcs. But the only original hardware left from that is the cpu block, d5 pump and ex 240 radiator.
I added the 360 ex radiator, xspc acrylic tank reservoir for the d5, durelene clear pvc tubing and numerous bitspower fittings.

The waterblocks for my 480 gtx's were hard to come by. I finally found 2 danger den copper blocks "not my first choice" for a reasonable price in the clearance section at performance-pcs. After I put everything together though the copper blocks didn't look as bad as I thought.

For dye I used Mayhems deep purple. I really like the way the color turned out. Hopefully it will last.

You will love the Sniper 3. Mine has been rock solid and easy to configure.
