I have had a similar problem with the sound. I "think" the auto detection of attached sound plugs has a flaw. If I change to my headphones and back to speakers and plug stuff in/out very much it seems to loose detection of whatever you plug in. Are you unplugging your headphones a lot? You might be better off leaving them plugged in and just changing your output in the creative control panel. Hope this helps. thumb.gif

yea that might be it, if you can't get it resolved try calling GTS, see if they can help you or possibly RMA the board if something is faulty.

I had serious sound problems with my sniper 3 F7 bios. I solve them with a bios downgrade to F6.thumb.gif

How does the f6 bios compare for overclocking? I got 4.6 on my 3570k with little problems. Just wondering if I switch bios if it'll go back up as easy? I wish these had a dual bios. wink.gif

Thanks all.
I think the problem is only with steam. Yesterday i was playing all night to BF3 and listen music from Sporify and sounds didn´t go...
How can steam do this? i loose the sound in all programs and windows and have to restart computer or reinstall drivers (not found everytimes)
