Ok dude..While I disagree with your "it isn't a stability issue". It's certainally your right to think that. I guess we can agree to disagree on this issue... Good luck to you.

Well, what would you suggest is unstable? The core and the memory modules themselves do not appear to be unstable. Could it be something with the IMC?

Only thing I know is if your system crashes something is not stable. What is it? Who knows thats why we test lol. Might be cpu, memory, gpu, drivers, whatever.

It wasn't exactly a crash though, it just decided not to boot. It doesn't even POST when this happens, so I would assume that it is not drivers.

Let's keep it constructive, like if you can help out the guy with the problems, not troll the thread rolleyes.gif

Have you tried other BIOS files? I don't remember seeing if you did or not. If the newest ones aren't working, try a stable older one.

Your RAM is one of the Supported modules on gigabyte's website, correct?

I'm using the Samsung Wonder RAM kit, It can hit 2133+ on my other mobo, but haven't been able to get it stable above 1866 on my m3.
Maybe it's a similar issue.

I'm on F9 and have only used F9, for the record.

Hope this helps you out a little bit at least, Vanelay.

I'm on BIOS F7; I could try flashing to a different version. I don't really want to, though.

My memory is on the supported list.

Hey guyz swapped over from the cursed Mpower z77 to the M3. So far luvin this board! Running 4.5Ghz with 1.34v. Tried lower but it'll hard lock either in bios or on logon screen. Temps extremly cool aside from 1 stubborn core, lol. Using F9 bios with zero issues.

You think maybe it's a power supply issue? I had the same problem on a 1366 system. Out of curiosity I swapped out psu's and the problem was gone. Just grabbing at straws here..

I can leave my 2700k in auto voltage and it runs ~1.285 @ 4.5. I'm sure its really not the best or appropriate comparison (SB vs IB).

Try enabling pll overvoltage protection and set it to auto voltage thumb.gif

Odd, don't see that option in my bios.
