I am pretty sure they would run at the same frequency (the slower of the two). Which is not a big deal if that's the case.

why use precision x over afterburner??

Almost 2 hours of Heaven maxed and everything was still running beautifully with a max temp of 58c so let the overclocking begin! I just need to know which values to start with for the non top card?

At stock speeds I ran heaven overnight no crashes. I did notice at one point running heaven, blue artifacts. Also in Metro 2033. But I haven't seen them since then.
It seems like its OC'd just a hair above where I would like it. So I am unsure if I should RMA or not. I guess I'll watch closely and see if the artifacts return. At least the card doesn't crash.

I wouldn't, 1280, if stable is great.

Just see all the posts about people that aren't even stable at stocks boosts of 1240-1250. I didn't have much overhead on my card either, stock was 1254, was only able to add +45, anything over was crash in Heaven eventually.

Well i think i got lucky!!! My non top model following the guide by sean i seem to be stable at 1300mhz in heaven!!! I havent tried games yet. Graphs indicate no throttling though which is a good sign, right? Power Control is going right up to 129 though which is rather high lol but staying stable and fluid.

+400 memory is stable with the core, is there much point in pushing the memory higher??

this is close to mine, which difference i assume comes from my KB is 137MHz. and out of box it runs @ 1137MHz.

As far as memory side, i tried to push +420 was still ok, but didnt see much improvement, so left it @ +400Mem.

Your card is very similar to my Non-Top which is a great sign and we can say that you are lucky as well thumb.gif
