Wonder if it's going to come with this new BIOS already.
P.S I've also noticed they dropped the price of TOP a bit now it's £361.68 i paid £379.08

I doubt it mate, the BIOS was only released today on the Asus website. Maybe though. Your going for another TOP card then?

The new BIOS has very vague release notes. It would be good if ASUS described in more detail what they fixed exactly...

Would the top BIOS work on non-top model? I guess I should be able to back up my current non-top bios.
I would be willing to give it a shot if I can revert back in case of stability issues. Were there any reports of bricking cards when flashing non-top units with top bios?

With the new bios , the frequency of the boost is lower (4 bins) !

For example with the older bios if your card go to 1280mhz (boost) with the new bios, the card go to 1228 mhz (boost).

1 bins = 13 mhz
4 bins = 52 mhz

sorry for bad english ^^

People are going to complain but they made a mistake. The chips were never capable of those ocs anyways. So its not like they gimped the card or something. You can still oc it to the same Max it was capable of.

and are they stable? were they stable before? we could already alter the clock speeds on our own. how about in nvidia control panel. did they add the option to disable boost? they have to give the people with unstable cards something more than a decrease in clock speed. some cards are just plain bust, even at sub 1200mhz speeds.
