im at the stage i want 2 cards in sli but im not much of an overclocker so will maybe only do some light overclocking but not too much

i was tempted for evga 670 ftw but from what i have read the folowing 2 cards have a better temperature design and slight faster out the box speed

Asus TOP
or
Msi Power Edition OC?

which would be recommended ....

its in a ventilated case and i see the Asus TOP has officially had a fix via bios update.... from peoples experience whats suggested?

thankyou

Thanks Lightsout... pretty happy with the SLI setup but i can only get the following overclock stable in Battlefield 3. Any higher crashes after a few hours in BF3.

But what is your card actually boosting to in BF3 when it crashes? I also have TOPs in SLI which are overclocked to 1321 core and 3506 mem. I get weird texture flashes in BF3 (but not crashes) when I mess with the nvidia control panel 'power management mode' like people were suggesting to you a few pages back.

I attached one end of fishing line right where the red arrow is pointing in my pic and another end to the "roof" of my case, I got lucky because my case (Corsair 500R) has lots of screw holes for additional fans and whatnot.

Honestly, you can not go wrong with either decision.

As a TOP owner and an MSI enthusiest, I would recommend the Asus card. With the latest bios update from Asus, the card will run without any issues. That was a tough decision for me to as I absolutely LOVE MSI cards. I went with my Asus and havent looked back because when you pit the cards at one another, this time around the Asus just performs at a higher level.

Cooling - They both are very comparable in this field
Noise - The Asus blows everything else out of the water, especialy a TF cooler
Performance - I am sure the MSI can OC, although out of the box the Asus carries a faster OC than most GTX 680's - wow!
Features - Asus has a backplate included

Do not get me wrong, I still Love MSI and their Twin Frozr, I just think Asus wins this time around. Although if you pick up the MSI card, I am sure you will be happy. After owning both cards, while I still prefer the TF cooler look, I love never hearing my card during gaming.
