Another thing is that sound is getting much quieter when i disable SLI which leads me to think I'm putting too big load on mu PSU and freaks me out.

yes you're correct, you're putting high load on your PSU that's why it's making weird sounds, that's fine in 9 out of 10 cases doesn't mean anything but that this PSU is not as good as some top notch PSU which would stay dead silent even under 110% load, a little hotter maybe wink.gif

I'd not assume it's too high for your PSU but to be on the safe side I'd take your Corsair TX which is for sure is better than CM and put it in your more expensive rig wink.gif

or get yourself device to measure power draw on outlet you're connecting your PC to, and see for yourself how much does your SLI setup take during benchmarking/gaming

my rig is at ~450W TOP real draw while gaming which is pretty safe for 650W modern PSU

Just got my card about a week ago - I started by installing the bios and the most recent drivers from nVidia. So far I have about 20 hours of Diablo 3 in and have had 0 crashes, and ran 3DMarkVantage and 3DMark11 without a hitch. Will check Heaven as well~

...I may have just gotten a good card though...?

Heaven and Battlefield 3 maxed out are the best tests. It’s impossible to crash a non graphic intense game like Diablo 3 (unless you super overclock the core). I have had 2 Asus TOP in SLI/and 2 non TOP in SLI, my two TOP cards were fine, my non top cards were completely unusable...I averaged 25fps in SLI on Max Payne 3, and 3dmark11 scores were WAY down, I found out they were from an Asus RETURN CENTER! So I assume they were trash to begin with. But yeah if you can run Heaven/3dmark11 (but run them a couple times back to back) I'd say you got a good card, the DCU2 cards are probably the best looking and quietest cards out there!

I used PSU Calc made by Phaedrus and it calculates 635W for my rig which should be fine but that noise ....... I'm not comfortable with it , gonna get a new PSU soon need to wait a week or two cause my recent upgrades didn't go unnoticed by the missus eye wink.gif
I think I'll be getting one of those :

Can't make up my mind , my max budget is £100 otherwise I'd get OCZ ZX 1KW mad.gif

I have the older version of that Thermaltake, It runs my system great. I have 2 670's maxed OC'd, 2600k @ 5.15ghz (only on suicidee runs), 3 HDD, 3 SSD Drives, 3 Cathodes, 8 fans, a dvdrw, 16gb of ram and its a total champ!

Great to hear you are happy but +XXX doesn't mean anything with Kepler. What is your final boost in MHz? Have you seen an improvement in your maximum stable OC after the bios update?

I have just come across an interesting review on overclockers.com...

http://www.overclockers.com/asus-gtx670-directcu-ii-top-gpu-review

"Unfortunately, the default PowerTune limit is just too low to let you unleash all the power this card has to offer. Hopefully, there will be a software solution to help improve that. ASUS has expressed willingness to send us a special BIOS and we’ll post results in the comments after we get a chance to play with it. They have even given us permission to distribute it (with a written disclaimer of potential card damage of course). You’ve got to love that kind of support for the overclocking community!"

I have just hit them up on twitter to try to find out more...
