Heres my settings on an Asus Direct CU II GTX 670 NON TOP (1300mhz core)

I get 1300mhz 99% of the time, some games dip just below sometimes and when enabling active vsync i can get low clocks too because the GPU doesnt need to work flat out.

This is the problem, i had flat 1337MHz before, now it doesnt even reach there on heaven runs. I had stable 53 FPS in Heaven bench, but now barely hitting 41-42 FPS. I am curious if it's hardware problem mad.gif

Very strange mate. If you were getting 1337mhz on the standard bios, you would have had the highest overclocking GTX 670 i have seen. People are hardly reaching that with a moddified BIOS.

It seems strange your power limit is only hitting 99%...thats probably where the issue lays. Normally see about 120 - 130% with 1300mhz core. If Power Control cant increase, nor can your core clock. Have you tried lowering your core clock? +200 seems very high, try something like 150 to start with.

It doesnt change, whatever i do, remains the same power not going above 99%. Before i was seeing 127ish as max.

Yeah, i had a golden card, posted some bench results as the early obtainer. See below results:

There's people getting close to and beyond 1400MHz stock, slightly above 1300MHz isn't unusual.

I'm not sure if you missed what I wrote....but I asked you if you always had +100mv on the core voltage?

http://www.overclock.net/t/1259425/asus-670-directcu-ii-top/2200_100#post_18049039

The reason why I ask...as soon as MSI AB 2.2.3 came out, I tried +100mv for giggles on my NON TOP SLI....well let me tell you, my cards HATED IT...it stuttered like crazy and I probably lost a good 20fps righto ff the bat....very noticeable in BF3....another user on OCN decided to do the same thing I did to his NON TOP....he reported the same results....I don't think you should even bother going +100mv anyway unless you have a modded BIOS....which from the sound of it, you don't

Hi guys!

I have observed a strange situation with boost on my Asus GTX 670 TOP.
The clock of my card has the value of X MHz. Then, when GPU reaches 70C it drops down to the value of (X - 26)MHz. Next, after reaching 73C the clock backs to X MHz. Is it normal situation? Should I RMA the card?

these cards throttle clock speeds at or around 70c.
