I also got this card today from Amazon. Though it seems to refuse to go beyond 1291 mhz no matter what hehe. tongue.gif

For people with cases that have a side panel fan, do you have the fan as intake or exhaust? Or does it not matter.

Don't get mad because you had some expectations in your head that you shouldn't have. There are a ton of people here that would love to be able hit 1240.

I'm actually mad because NJ lost to LA today. (NHL Final game 1)

Intake for me. Blows cool air right on to the GPU. Exhausts out the top of the case. It lowers the temps of my GPU significantly.

Rangers fan here says tongue.gif sorry

Anyway I was happy with my stock boost of 1254 and hitting 1299 was just gravy. If you purchased a reference card or a GB there's no guarantee it would go any higher than advertised. The quiet and efficient fans, great looking card, backplate and stock OC was well worth he $30 for me.

That means my card's kepler boost is only at 104mhz where as other people's kepler boost is at 130mhz. Because of this super low Kepler boost, my card maxes out at only around 1271mhz with a max power percent of 121%. Other people are hitting 1300+mhz with a power percent of only 100%, so that means i definitely got a crap card.

That sucks

I remember a week or two back...everybody was like, yeah get the DC2, will OC way better! After more and more people get their hands on the DC2...it seems to be a toss up between the DC2 and the Gigabyte WF models....you can have a crap DC2, and on the other side, have an incredible GB WF....theres like no guarantee at this point....I would say for new comers, just save the extra $30 and go Gigabyte WF...if you get a crap Gigabyte WF, then don't sweat it because you could have gotten a crap DC2 as well

Maybe. But I hope not .biggrin.gif

On a side note, my card is crashing at "stock" now... =S

Does anyone have issues with Afterburner running the bg? I've read that some cards have issues with monitoring programs, but I've also read that AB was okay with these cards?

Edit: Rebooted and it's not crashing anymore. Hm... I guess I'll just leave it alone then.

Man, are we already spoiled with 1 ghz+ gpu speeds? I am hoping I will be so impressed with it out the box that I won't even feel the need to OC it. Never had a gpu past 1 ghz.
