XoticPC customer service...Need your experiences - Page 2

i bought a sager np8130 last year and had no issues at all. i even had to rma it with them and they were great. i talked to some guy who i think they called "hoss" and he let me keep my hard drives and then sent me a new laptop without them so i had very little downtime. good luck getting dell to do that.

i live in the middle east and i had to RMA my blu-ray and my wifi card so they just asked me to remove them and but them in a bubble bag and send them to the usa after 2 days of the parts arrival to the usa they where on there way back to my cousin in VA so i think they have one of the best customer service

I ordered my Sager 6165 on May 11 and it was delivered yesterday. I spoke with Rowland on livechat when I ordered it and got a confirmation phone call that afternoon from sales to ensure the order was correct. I also forgot to enter the code for free shipping and Rowland was kind enough to enter it for me. All in all, I'm very happy with the service. This is my first laptop and still getting used to it, but the build quality appears to be top notch and the service like I said has been excellent.

I finally got to talk to Kaitlyn yesterday, and surprisingly, our conversation was short. I did not want to sound like an irritated customer, but I let her know about my concerns. I told her about my problem and I asked if she had received an e-mail of my corrections, she replied, "Yes, I have, but we don't work on the weekends, I will get this done late afternoon today and give you a call back." (It was morning when I called her.) After I got off work, I checked my e-mail and I still didn't get a correction or update.. sigh. Hopefully she'll get to it today. sad-smiley-002.gif

Sounded like a breeze! Unfortunately I ordered online and not with a representative. frown.gif For me this was the most complicated online order I've ever done.

I ordered a NP9130 just before the IB buzz. I got a 2670QM and a GTX670m, that's all I need or want. It would have been nice for them to tell me to wait, but it's a business, I get it. All and all I love my new laptop. Works just like my old SB desktop but in a way smaller footprint. The CS was great, every email I got was answered in a timely manner, even on the weekends depending on who I was trying to get a hold of. Verification only works M-F, while sales can jump on chat if needed on weekends. biggrin.gif

Just finished talking to Kaitlyn once again, I have dealt with my credit card issuer and told her about it, there should be no problem verifying it now, (Just hope she does it today before her shift ends so the building process can began tomorrow!) She told me that the plant where they build the laptop is in California, but the sales tax here is like 7.25% and I do not want to pay that much! haha She gave me an option of them shipping it to Nebraska and they'll ship it from there to me, avoiding the tax.. ( I think that's how it goes.) But I can afford the wait.. since I got someone to receive it for me if it comes later than the end of this month. Haha biggrin.gif


Overall I must say it was quite frustrating but if there aren't any problem I should be satisfied.. she is helpful but a really busy woman, took me 4 days to finally get to talk to her. (I can understand because of the IB rush order like you guys mentioned..)

Even though my problem is.. hopefully resolved, it would still be nice to get some experiences here and there. smile.gif
