Same here with Vsync on it runs smooth.

I'm hoping when nVidia releases some real drivers for their new cards these issues will be alleviated. Now that I think about it though, I was also having the same problems with my 580, so who knows. Regardless, whether its game or driver related, its annoying playing the game on the lowest settings and still having performance issues when using my sig rig. Unacceptable.

301 drivers just released. May want to give them a try.

So, after looking at the way D3 is using my system, it doesnt look like its taking advantage of the hardware. My GPU usage never goes above 40% (every other game its at like 80% or above) and my CPU usage never goes above 20% (every other games it sits around 50%). Could this be the problem?

The game runs pretty terribly probably 60-70% of the time. I'm thinking its probably the drivers as the only one currently available are beta drivers, but I was curious to see if anyone else was having problems.

I was running my 670 with vsync on. It would stay at 60 then every once and awhile drop in half and stay there. A simple alt tab out and then back into the game fixed the issue.

Currently I have vsync off and have the max foreground fps slider set to 60 and have not had an issue since.

I believe there was a comment on the nvidia forums about a driver update in June to improve some D3 functions.
Everytime i start the client after quiting it the fps is horrible, but after a minute or so it gets stable and is at about 180-200fps.

I've tried both adaptive v-sync and the standard one without any improvement..

Nope my game is running fine.
