Is this superpi score ok?-Help me overclock!

I mean it's not bad but I have seen slightly better scores at 100mhz slower than me. Anything I can do to improve it? Tighten ram timings or something? Running at 3:5 ram speed ratio?

If your RAM can handle it (and the RAM in your profile will be able to), try dropping down the multiplier to the 8x to 10x range. That will push the RAM harder and should speed up your time a bit. You'll have to balance RAM speed versus timings, but try a few different combinations and see what works best for you.

It is a good starting point for 3.9 .. should be able to get 13 or a wee bit lower for that CPU speed and as Taeric has indicated play with mem timings and BW.

At the end of the Day CPU spped is king then balance BW with CAS / Timings... post it up in the Pi thread too

Keep on going up.

I don't understand why you're running your DDR-1066 ram at 300 mhz. Change the ratio to give your ram more bandwidth. I seem to recall that superpi requires nice bandwidth with the ram. Ie. I get 25s at 400 mhz, but then that lowers to 23s with 475 mhz ram clock.

I can run the ram at ddr2 1066 with 4-4-4-4-5 timings, is this the best I can do? As for the CPU OC I don't know what is better for this board, higher FSB or higher multi?

EDIT: Ok I am sure I need a high multi, this board just hates high FSB. x20 multi did not work so well so I will try to keep it in the 12-14 range, maybe even 15. So with my FSB being low, should I crank my ram up to 3:5 and run it as 533mhz with 4-4-4-5? Or should I keep the ram a bit slower and go for the really tight timings? Like maybe 350mhz with the tighest timings this BIOS will let me set.

Intels LOVE bandwudth, Don't muck around with timings, they aren't as important. Run CL5 500mhz and you should be fine.

Doh some people say speed is better than timings and some vice versa. Well anyway what should I set my "fsb termination voltage", my "MCH" voltage, and my "ICH" voltage to? The max for them are 1.50v, 1.65v, and 1.20v respectively. Unless I messed around the names, well the northbridge max voltage is 1.65, and I guess the southbridge is 1.20.

Also how come I set my timings to 4-4-4-4-5 but cpu-z shows them as 4-4-4-4-20? This ius with 2:3 ratio.
