How do I use lucid virtu mvp? - Page 2

This helped me out maybe it'll help you out too

1st way
You can use "LucidLogix Virtu MVP Wizard V1.00.09 for Windows Win7 32bit & Win7 64bit.".
This software will help you to guide through the installation process.
This software is available for download from ASUS official site under "ASUS Maximus V Gene" download section.
Link here. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Maximus_V_GENE/#download
Just choose your OS type and open "Utility" section.

2nd way
1 - Enable iGPU option in BIOS.
1.1 Open "Advance BIOS" mode,
1.2 Go to "Advance" tab,
1.3 Enter "CPU Configuration" section,
1.4 There is "iGPU option" (I don't remember correct name) which is disabled - enable it,
1.5 Save the BIOS settings,
1.6 Load the OS.

2 - Install driver for iGPU (Intel® HD Graphics 4000).
Comment: I think the best way is to download driver directly from Intel.
Link is here.http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=3rd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4000%2f2500&ProdId=3498&LineId=3310&FamilyId=39
Just choose your OS type and download driver.

3 - Install latest "Virtu MVP Software".
Comment: Again I think the best way is to download software from Lucid website which is official developer of this program.
Link available here. http://www.lucidlogix.com/driverdownloads.html

All i needed to do was update the driver for HD 4000.
so far, virtu mvp has only destroyed my performance in game's. (in a bad way, true to the word "destroyed")
for example: in bf3 i dropped on average 10 fps. also it felt awfull, I think the v-sync feature only made it fell choppier.
Then, the most game breaking part. many of the textures in the landscape didnt exist anymore. they were replaced with large square patches of neon green. For a second i thought i was high, but i realized..... no...... no im not.
Ive read about all the gains in performance with benchmarks, but how my game feels to me is more important than any number i can achieve in Heaven 3.0 (in which i dropped 5 fps and a few to many points.)
And that is that.

Because it raises the benchmark scores... but it dosen't actually improve FPS.

weird it worked for me till the day i removed the cable from my graphic card (was cleaning dust of the pc) and pluged it back to the motherboard so i didn't notice that time
and got high scores in benchmark lol that when i noticed am not using the gtx 680 and my gaming perfomance was low, so when i move the cable back to the discrete graphics it's not working anymore the Virtu mvp and tried to reinstall it it does same thing integrated graphics was not found ,

it did Help my performance to be honest in a lot of games ( wow , Dota 2 , crysis and far cry 3) am talking about 10-15 fps more so it worked for me but some games like old one, LOTR BFME 2 rise of the witch king, the game doesn't start till i disable the virtu mvp it says minimum requirement is DX 9 or higher etc..

for Diablo III the game play was **** the game delay so badly unplayable, so again i did disable the virtu mvp to play Diablo III.

so i found out that my gtx 680 can play all games max ofc so when i get bad fps or something wrong i go disable my Virtu mvp the games just dont support it or the virtu not there yet to be able to work good with all games

Will this work with 2 discrete GPUs?

What's the point of this software? Spoof FPS count to make you think your FPS increased? This is OCN. Why are people falling for this garbage?
