A nice and respectable clock yes.. but in the end, is it safe? That's the whole point of this thread. smile.gif I don't want to fry my board, but on the other hand I have no first hand experience about how mobos die... Do they work normally until one day they decide to give up hope or is it instability throughout?

yeah 4.6 with stable temps = good to go.

If you BSOD, just raise the vcore offset a little. and by little like .005 or .010

how much 4 + 1 Power Phase Design can take , according to to this link
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=3

majority 3+1 = supports 95 watts
some 4+1 = supports 125 watts
some 4+1 = supports 140 watts (just like all 8+2 limit, seems given to better quality build mobo`s)

okay as u know most ppl well tell u 8+2 isn't genuine 8 power phase there just redundant and i agree with that looking at that spreadsheet u will see 8+2 phases doesn't add CPU support wattage

so with little math + 'malmental' knowledge =

4 + 1 = means 4 dedicated to CPU and the 1 is to ram and other stuff
if 3 + 1 = and we take the 3 cause I'm interested in power to the CPU not to anything else support 95 watts then each give (95/3) = 31.6

then 4+1= will support 31.6*4 = 126.6 watts CPU support

plz correct if I'm wrong
