Time to get a $49 analog video capture card, plug your VCR into your computer, press play, and save the video to the hard drive for later playback. Then get one of those vacuum bags, put your VHS tapes in it, suck all the air out of it, and put it in the basement on the very unlikely chance that the FCC comes to your house demanding to see your original tapes that you made "archival copies" of.
